1. Acceptance of Terms (18+)

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the UCP.ae (UsedCarParts.ae) platform (the “Platform”) by individuals and companies.

By accessing the Platform, creating an account, or using any of its services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy.

Your use of the Platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process your data.

The Platform is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into binding agreements.

If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or for commercial purposes, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on the Platform and will take effect from the date of publication. Your continued use of the Platform after any updates means that you accept the revised Terms.

2. Definitions and General Provisions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• Platform means the website UCP.ae UsedCarParts.ae and all services provided through it.
• User means any individual or company aged 18 or older who accesses or uses the Platform.
• Account means the profile created by a User on the Platform.
• Ad means a listing published by a User offering an auto spare part or a vehicle for dismantling, in accordance with the Platform rules.
• Seller / Supplier means any User who publishes Ads on the Platform, including both Individual Sellers and Shops or Suppliers.
• Individual Seller means a User acting in a personal capacity, within the limits permitted by the Platform.
• Shop or Supplier means a User operating as a business (Auto Spare Parts Shop or Supplier) who publishes Ads for commercial purposes.
• Buyer means a User who contacts Sellers or Suppliers to request offers or purchase parts.
• Content means any text, description, image, data, information, or other material uploaded, submitted, or displayed on the Platform.

The Platform is intended primarily for users located in the United Arab Emirates. We do not guarantee that the Platform complies with the laws or regulations of other jurisdictions.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of such external websites.

3. Ad Posting Rules and Content Standards

Ads must be submitted using the forms and tools provided on the Platform. By publishing an Ad, you confirm that:

• The information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.
• You have the legal right to sell or offer the listed item.

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Posting Ads in incorrect or irrelevant categories.
• Publishing obscene, defamatory, threatening, abusive, or otherwise unlawful content.
• Uploading content that infringes the rights of any third party.
• Posting misleading, vague, or generic Ads that do not clearly describe the product.
• Using the Platform for spam, fraudulent activity, or creating multiple abusive accounts.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems.

Each Ad must include a clear and accurate description, along with a genuine and realistic price. The User is solely responsible for all Content published.

Contact details must not be included within the Ad description if the Platform provides dedicated fields for this purpose.

Images containing promotional text, phone numbers, website links, or any form of advertising overlays are not permitted.

Duplicate Ads for the same item are not allowed.

The Platform may offer AI-assisted tools to help generate or complete Ad descriptions. Users remain fully responsible for reviewing, verifying, and correcting any automatically generated content. The Platform does not accept liability for errors or inaccuracies resulting from the use of such tools.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to review, edit, or remove any Ad that violates these Terms or applicable laws, whether or not the Ad is promoted.

4. Commercial Accounts

Users registering as companies (Auto Spare Parts Shops or Suppliers) may create and manage business profiles in accordance with the Platform structure.

Commercial Users are required to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date business information, including company name, contact details, and location. Publishing false, misleading, or incomplete business information is strictly prohibited.

Commercial Users are solely responsible for all Ads, Content, and interactions carried out through their accounts.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate any commercial account in cases of fraud, abuse, misleading activity, or violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

5. Verified Supplier Status

The Platform may offer a “Verified” status to certain commercial accounts, subject to its internal review and approval process.

To be eligible for Verified status, the account must provide a valid trade licence issued in the United Arab Emirates, along with any additional information requested by the Platform.

The Platform reserves the right to review, request updated documents, or revoke Verified status at any time if the provided information is found to be invalid, expired, misleading, or if non-compliance with these Terms is identified.

Verified status indicates that certain documents have been reviewed by the Platform, but it does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, or certification of the User, their business, or the products offered.

6. Promotions and Paid Services

The Platform may offer paid services for promoting Ads or increasing their visibility.

All promotional services are provided on an “as available” basis. The Platform does not guarantee any specific results, including sales, views, or a minimum number of contacts.

Payments for such services are processed through authorized third-party payment providers. The Platform is not responsible for any issues arising from payment processing services.

Unless otherwise stated, all payments made for promotional services are non-refundable.

Prices and features of paid services may be changed at any time.

7. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only.

We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites.

Accessing and using such external websites is done at your own risk.

8. The Platform Is Not a Party to Transactions Between Users

The Platform acts solely as a digital intermediary that connects Buyers and Sellers.

The Platform does not sell auto parts, does not own or store any products, and does not set prices or participate in negotiations between Users. The Platform also does not process payments between Users.

All transactions, agreements, and communications are conducted directly between Users. The Platform is not a party to any transaction and assumes no responsibility for any agreement reached between Users.

The Platform does not guarantee the quality, condition, compatibility, delivery, or warranty of any listed items.

Any disputes arising between Users must be resolved directly between them. The Platform is not involved in dispute resolution between Users.

9. Electronic Communications

By using the Platform, you agree to receive communications and notifications via email and, where applicable, via WhatsApp.

Commercial accounts may receive automated WhatsApp notifications related to parts requests and Platform activity.

The Platform does not guarantee the delivery or receipt of messages sent through third-party communication services and is not responsible for any delays, failures, or technical issues affecting such communications.

10. Feedback

The Platform may allow Users to submit feedback regarding their experience with the Platform and its services.

All feedback must be honest, based on genuine experiences, and must not contain misleading, false, or unlawful content.

The Platform reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to monitor, review, edit, or remove any feedback that contains offensive language, false information, or that violates these Terms.

Feedback submitted by Users reflects their personal opinions and does not represent the views or endorsements of the Platform.

11. Intellectual Property

All content available on the Platform, including but not limited to text, design, logos, structure, databases, and software, is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws and is owned by or licensed to the Platform.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Platform solely for its intended purpose.

Any copying, reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of Platform content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

The use of scraping tools, bots, crawlers, or any automated methods to access, collect, or extract data from the Platform is strictly prohibited.

Trademarks, logos, and brand elements may not be used without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties or guarantees of any kind.

The Platform makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Platform or its Content.

The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the Platform will always be available.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable UAE law, the Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or loss of opportunities.

The Platform is not responsible for any Content posted by Users or for any transactions, agreements, or disputes between Users.

13. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Platform, its owners, affiliates, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Any violation of these Terms;
• Any violation of applicable laws or regulations;
• Any infringement of third-party rights;
• Any fraudulent, misleading, or false information published by the User.

14. Force Majeure

The Platform shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, technical failures, internet or network disruptions, or actions of governmental authorities.

15. Assignment and Severability

The Platform may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, in connection with a business restructuring, merger, or sale, without prior notice.

Users may not assign, transfer, or delegate their rights or obligations under these Terms without the prior written consent of the Platform.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws determined under relevant conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts determined under applicable law.

17. Account Suspension and Termination

The Platform reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any User account at any time, without prior notice, in case of:

• Violation of these Terms;
• Fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity;
• Posting misleading or unlawful Content.

Users may request the deletion of their account at any time.

The Platform reserves the right to retain certain data as required by applicable laws, including relevant European Union data protection requirements, or for legitimate business purposes.
